As an Account Manager at Arista Networks, you will be a key member of our sales team, serving as the primary liaison between the company and our clients. This role involves collaborating with some of the most skilled Customer Engineers in the industry, as well as our Professional Services and Executive teams, to ensure that client needs are met effectively. You will report to a Regional Sales Manager or Area Vice President of Sales and will be instrumental in driving the company's growth within the Pittsburgh, PA area.

Your primary responsibilities will include exceeding measurable sales objectives and expanding the Arista brand within Fortune 1000 accounts, as well as developing new client relationships. You will employ a consultative selling approach to address the business needs of hybrid cloud computing and legacy IT systems across Arista's product portfolio. This includes software-driven open networking switching platforms, high-performance data centers, campus networks, cognitive campus Wi-Fi solutions, DANZ Monitoring Fabric, network detection and response (NDR), and endpoint security solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with technology partners, establish and manage key channel relationships, and conduct demand generation activities such as happy hours, lunch-and-learns, and technology forums.

The ideal candidate will possess a hunter mentality with a proven track record in technology sales, including cultivating relationships with existing customers and penetrating new accounts. A minimum of a BS/BA degree or equivalent, along with over five years of technology sales experience, is required. Relevant experience in data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) industries from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels are crucial. Previous selling experience and technical acumen in areas such as networking, SDN, NFV, switching, network automation, routing, data center, edge computing, network virtualization, hyper-converged infrastructure, or cloud computing are highly desirable.

Arista Networks offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary range of $108,000 to $154,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commissions, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, tax savings, and income protection.
