Account Executive
As an Account Executive at Vention, you will play a pivotal role in assisting businesses to capitalize on the vast opportunities in industrial automation and business transformation. Vention, headquartered in Montreal and Berlin, provides AI-powered hardware and software solutions designed for the factory floor, serving over 25,000 machines across 4,000 factories worldwide. You will be part of a dynamic team supported by Integration Coaches, Application Engineers, and Sales Leadership, all working collaboratively to drive success.
In this role, you will manage both inbound and outbound leads, targeting client accounts to discover opportunities, build pipelines, and achieve quotas. Your focus will be on acquiring new customers and developing existing business opportunities. You will lead the sales process from initial discovery to close, working closely with Application Engineers to manage project development using Vention's 3D MachineBuilder design tool and MachineLogic simulation tool. Collaborating with leadership, you will develop strategies to grow the sales pipeline and consistently meet and exceed targets.
The ideal candidate brings over two years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing technology. Excellent communication skills in English, active listening, and the ability to ask insightful questions are essential. Comfort in speaking with and presenting to clients, along with a passion for customer success and the ability to identify client needs, are crucial. The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment, a deep interest in engineering topics, and a genuine curiosity about how things work. Experience with sales tools such as Gong, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, Salesforce, or Seismic is considered an asset. A competitive nature, strong sense of purpose, and a drive to excel are highly valued.
