Account Executive, Upper Midwest (IA, MN, ND, SD, NE)
Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Account Executive to join our North Central sales team. This role supports our Cedar Falls, Iowa laboratory and manages a multi-state territory encompassing Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries, ensuring the safety and authenticity of products worldwide.
The Account Executive will manage and grow an existing book of business within the assigned territory, drive new business development across targeted market segments, and partner with operations and marketing to execute strategic growth initiatives. Responsibilities include maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting and closing new business opportunities, driving revenue growth across key markets such as environmental consulting, industrial clients, landfills, and municipal wastewater programs, and conducting regular in-person client visits throughout the territory, with travel expected up to approximately 40% of the time, including overnight stays.
Candidates should possess a BS/BA degree, preferably in Environmental Engineering/Science, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, or a related field, and have at least 2-3 years of sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Laboratory or environmental industry experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to generate new business while managing and growing existing accounts in a B2B environment, an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and build a territory, and strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
The position offers a competitive base salary starting at $95,000-$115,000, plus commission and a car allowance.
