The Account Executive (SMB) position at KnowBe4 focuses on identifying and acquiring new small to medium-sized business clients within the assigned territory. This role is integral to the company's mission of enhancing organizational security cultures through its Human Risk Management platform. The successful candidate will join a dynamic sales team dedicated to expanding KnowBe4's presence in the Netherlands.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining a pipeline of business opportunities through various prospecting methods, following up on inbound leads, and conducting product demonstrations. The Account Executive will articulate the value proposition of KnowBe4's suite of products, educate customers on improving their human firewall, and strategically offer subscription levels and multi-year deals to increase annual recurring revenue. Collaboration with channel sales representatives to close new logos through partner business channels is also essential.

Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience selling to small or medium-sized businesses, with a bachelor's degree or higher education equivalent being desirable. Familiarity with IT, security, or cybersecurity industry practices is advantageous. Proficiency in Salesforce, Gmail, Google Docs, MS Office, and web browsers is expected. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a motivated and energetic self-starter attitude, strong collaborative and teamwork abilities, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision are required. Fluency in German is mandatory.
