Account Executive
As an Account Executive at Lightning AI, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of our end-to-end platform for developing, training, and deploying AI systems. Reporting to the VP of Revenue, you will join a dynamic sales team dedicated to expanding our customer base among solo researchers, startups, and large enterprises. This hybrid position is based in New York City, requiring in-office presence three days per week.
Your primary responsibilities will include building a deep understanding of our target markets, value propositions, and pricing models to exceed quarterly revenue targets. You will engage in high-quality outbound prospecting across key market segments, qualify and develop both inbound and outbound sales leads, and collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to refine the sales process. Additionally, you will analyze industry trends to identify new lead sources and work alongside the marketing team to enhance the quality of inbound leads.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in a similar sales role, selling technical or developer-focused products to technical audiences. Familiarity with the machine learning, AI, or software development ecosystem is essential, along with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced startup environment. Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency with CRM tools like HubSpot, and a solid understanding of sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or Sandler are also required.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000, complemented by a variable component.
