Account Executive - Inside Sales
MetTel is seeking an Account Executive to join our Inside Sales team in New York City. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with prospective customers to achieve sales goals and ensure client satisfaction. You will collaborate with various internal teams to address customers' needs and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients at all levels, understanding client needs and tailoring solutions to meet their goals, identifying opportunities for account growth and new business development, and collaborating with internal teams such as sales engineering, quote fulfillment, and customer care to address customer needs. Additionally, you will prepare and present proposals and presentations to clients, negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits, ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues to maintain long-term relationships, and stay updated on industry trends and competitors.
The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field, proven experience as an Account Executive, Sales Account Manager, or a similar role, and a demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets. Strong communication and negotiation skills, excellent organizational and time-management abilities, and a customer-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously are essential.
The base salary for this position is $80,000 annually, with a healthy commission plan to participate in as well. Compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and may vary based on work location and job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities of the successful candidate.
