Account Executive - Houston
The Account Executive - Houston at inKind is a proactive sales role focused on expanding partnerships with restaurant clients in the Houston area. This position is integral to inKind's mission of connecting diners with exceptional restaurants, aiming to increase sales while maintaining high service standards. Candidates must reside in the Houston, TX area and may be required to travel up to 25% outside the primary market.
Key responsibilities include sourcing, qualifying, and closing new restaurant partners to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas. The role involves maintaining a full sales pipeline, reviewing old leads for potential re-engagement, and acting as a trusted partner to prospects and customers. Collaboration with the Onboarding Team ensures smooth launches for new partners, and cross-functional work with Marketing and demand generation helps refine acquisition strategies. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential partners is essential, as is accurately tracking deals and communications in Salesforce.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in a quota-exceeding sales role, preferably in Hospitality, FinTech, or SaaS. A "hunter" mentality with strong sales and business acumen is essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly. Experience with Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is required, and an extensive customer network is beneficial. Preferred qualifications include over 10 years in a sales role, experience working with restaurants or food-related entities, and a background in a start-up environment.
Compensation includes a base salary of $100,000 with an uncapped on-target earnings (OTE) of $60,000.
