The Account Executive - Emerging Accounts role at Fictiv involves collaborating with innovative companies to expedite product development and market introduction. As part of the Emerging Accounts team, this position focuses on understanding client needs and delivering tailored manufacturing solutions. Fictiv, a division of MISUMI Americas, is a leading provider of standard, configurable, and custom manufacturing solutions, integrating a vast catalog of components with a world-class digital manufacturing platform.

In this role, the Account Executive will develop strategic business plans for assigned target accounts, prospect to build and maintain a healthy pipeline, and identify and secure opportunities across prototyping, ramp, production, and long-term manufacturing contracts. Responsibilities include meeting and exceeding sales quotas, maintaining accurate account and opportunity forecasting in leading customer contract negotiations, and building meaningful long-term relationships with key customer decision-makers. The role also involves representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, and establishing Fictiv's reputation as a virtual contract manufacturer.

Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record in remote work and account planning. A BS/BA degree is preferred, along with manufacturing experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills, negotiation and closing abilities, and expertise with modern sales tools (CRM, Sequencing, Prospecting, Collaboration) are essential. The role requires the ability to quickly build a new pipeline and manage forecasts to consistently exceed quotas.

Compensation includes a base salary of $75,000 and an uncapped variable component of $50,000. Benefits encompass competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan, parental leave programs, and paid volunteer days.
