Account Executive
As an Account Executive at Checkr, you will play a pivotal role in building and expanding the Checkr Trust business unit. This position offers the unique opportunity to develop a new market segment within an established company, focusing on solutions that detect bad actors before they impact businesses. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, akin to a founder within a startup environment, while benefiting from the resources and support of Checkr.
Your primary responsibilities will include defining ideal customer profiles, refining messaging, and creating repeatable sales motions in uncharted territories. You will own the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing multi-threaded enterprise deals. This role requires proactive market education, navigating ambiguity, and maintaining conviction through complex sales processes. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally with product, legal, operations, and leadership teams to shape and execute winning strategies.
The ideal candidate will have 5–7+ years of full-cycle, quota-carrying sales experience, with a strong emphasis on hunting and pipeline generation in environments lacking brand awareness. Experience in selling six- or seven-figure deals within complex settings is essential. A background in startup environments or a demonstrated ability to operate effectively in such contexts is highly valued. Proficiency in leveraging advanced AI tactics to enhance sales processes is also desirable.
