2026 - Legal Intern, NYC

MDB General Referrals is seeking a Legal Intern for the summer of 2026 in New York City. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business and technology law within a dynamic, fast-paced data platform company. As a Legal Intern, you will work closely with the legal team to support various legal functions, including corporate law, marketing, privacy and security, and intellectual property.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting with legal research, drafting and reviewing contracts, and supporting compliance initiatives. You will also have the chance to participate in meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues related to the company's operations. This internship is designed to provide exposure to a wide range of legal matters in the technology sector.

To be considered for this position, you must be currently enrolled in law school with at least one semester remaining after the internship concludes. Ideal candidates should possess strong analytical and communication skills, demonstrate intellectual curiosity, and be team-oriented. An interest in technology, corporate law, marketing, privacy and security, and intellectual property is essential. Authorization to work in the United States is required; company sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates applying for certain roles.

The internship is full-time, lasting 10 consecutive weeks from June to August, with a hybrid work model requiring 3-5 days per week in the office.
