2026 Entry-Level Associate - Investment Management

Faegre Drinker is seeking entry-level associates to join its Investment Management Practice in 2026. This partner-track position is available in multiple offices, including New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, Chicago, and Denver. The firm provides comprehensive legal services to a diverse client base, including billion-dollar fund families, startups, pension funds, and endowments.

As an associate in this role, you will advise both registered and private funds, as well as institutional investors, on fund formation, governance, regulatory compliance, and disputes. You will serve as fund and independent counsel, developing customized compliance strategies and providing policy advocacy to help clients navigate complex regulatory environments and minimize risk.

Candidates should be 3L or 4LE students with a strong academic record and a demonstrated interest in investment management law. Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills are essential. The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment is also important.

The anticipated initial annual salary range for this position is $200,000 to $225,000. The total compensation package includes productivity and discretionary bonuses, life, health, accident, and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan. Faegre Drinker also offers a hybrid work policy, requiring attorneys to work from a firm office three days per week, balancing in-person collaboration with individual flexibility and work-life balance.
